I'd really love to do this wall art in Cutter's room. Jonathan says I can if I am able to paint that well...not sure I'm able to paint this well, but maybe I can find cool stencils like this some where in the world.
Anyone have any stencil or free hand painting tips for kids rooms?
Oh wow, that's super cute! I love it! No ideas on the stencils. Just here to offer my pathetic support of enthusiasm! ;D

ReplyDeleteThere might be something similar at the above link. I didn't see the exact one. But I bet you'd paint it great!
Why not just buy those decals from Pottery Barn?? It's a small room so you don't want too much going on.

ReplyDeleteI'll check out the link you sent too DeeDee...just in case I want bragging rights to the cuteness of my sons room
He he. Glad I could help! ;)
ReplyDeleteI painted on my kitchen wall. I photocopied a picture I liked and then made a transparency. Then I used an overhead projector and drew the basics on the wall. Then I painted it using acrylic paints. You can ask Kristen what she thought of it. It wasn't her style, but it was fun thing to do and turned out pretty good. Jeanne
ReplyDeleteOh, and I painted over it when we sold our house. Jeanne
ReplyDeletethat's right mom you did some super cool wall paintings in our rooms as a kid! I think I may try it.
ReplyDeleteJeanne thank you for the projector tip! I think I'm gonna try something like that!
